Usage Note 35498: The --spring parameter is required for the report output generation tool in SAS® Web Report Studio

An error occurs if you attempt to execute the following command in extract mode from a command line in the installation folder SAS-home-directory\SASBIReportServices\4.2 and you do not specify the location of the mandatory spring.xml file:
outputgen_console.exe --extract --repository Foundation --host ddtw6401 --port 8561
--prompts-file c:\prompts\promptsfile.xml -u ddtw6401\sasdemo -pw Demo123
--source "A5GK9Q4T.BOOOOOBF --log-level INFO
The error message is as follows:
Reading options from command line. Validating options. Starting platform services. An error occurred: Unable to create the template since template file\SASBIReportServices\4.2\ .\sas_service_deployment.xml does not exist. Set log level to info to get more information about the error Cannot get desired Logger, reason: com.sas.services.discovery.ServiceNotAvailableException: Service not available. Requested service template was ServiceTemplate { ServiceTypes { 1. interface com.sas.services.logging.LoggingServiceInterface } Attributes { No optional attributes specified. } }. The file sas_service_deployment.xml is no longer used in SAS® 9.2, and it should reference the spring.xml file using the following syntax:
--spring -xml.file, -sxf
